He Qualifies Me

Here’s a short snippet of what the Lord has been teaching me and what has been on my mind lately.

There have been so many times these last few weeks that I have said the words “I am not qualified for this.” And in all honesty, there isn’t a lot about me, my fleshly self, that is qualified to be in the position I am in. It is only because of the Lord that I am called and qualified to be where I am at. Daily I am asking the Lord to strengthen and guide me. Daily I am asking for His wisdom and discernment.

I have stepped into a season where so much is unknown. I am learning so much. Like so much. There are things I’ve never had to step into that I am now stepping into and can only look to the Lord for direction. I am realizing there are things He has walked me through in my life that are guiding me and were stepping stones into bigger things He has for me right now and in the future. The Lord has been so kind and gracious with me as I am learning how to lead. He is guiding me. I feel a lot like Moses. Feeling so unqualified, but trusting that the Lord is walking right alongside of me through everything.

I am not qualified to do this on my own. I am only qualified because I am walking side by side with the Lord and He qualifies me.

“May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul, and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. The one who calls you is faithful, and he will do it.”

1 Thessalonians 5:23-24
