Yes. Over and over again I will say it: yes, God is faithful. In this season of funding for the World Race, I have seen God be faithful time and time again. In all honesty, I was terrified to begin this fundraising journey.  In my head, I knew that God would provide if this was the path He wanted to take me on. But the thought of asking people for money sounded so scary. It’s a decent amount of money I have to raise and I knew that the only way to fundraise it all was to ask people to partner with me. After all, it’s not my money, it’s not their money, it’s God’s money. As I worked through the struggle to put down my pride and my fear, God began opening doors for me. I began to have conversations with people about what I was doing and how they could partner with me and support me. Through these conversations, I saw God working in some of the most amazing ways. He worked through the hearts of people in my church, people I had just met, people I had known for years, and people I didn’t even know.

One of my most recent God moments happened at work. In this season before the Race, I have been working at a restaurant and waitressing. About a week ago, I was talking with one of my tables and they were asking how long I had worked there and what my next steps looked like as I mentioned that my last week at the restaurant was coming up. I began to tell them about the Race and what I would be doing. They shared about some of the missions trips they had gone on and wished me luck on my travels. As they were checking out, they handed me a card and told me to email them with details about how to give towards my trip. I was in shock. These random people, that I had no connection to, wanted to give towards my trip. Only God would make those connections.

Six months ago I was nervous to begin asking people for money towards the World Race. I was struggling with my fear and my pride. But God took those struggles and tore down those walls. Now here I am, a month before launching and I am over 80% of the way funded. God is good and God is faithful.

For those of you who have financially supported me, thank you. God is going to use your generosity in some of the most amazing ways already. For those of you who may feel called to support and partner with me, feel free to click the donate link above.

God has some really cool plans for this coming year. I am excited to see how He uses us to further His Kingdom.
