Where Am I?

Where am I? I am currently in Gainesville, GA, starting the second week of my squad’s training camp! I have been down here in Georgia for almost three weeks now, and, woah, has the Lord been GOOD! I had a week and a half of leader training which was intense but I saw the Lord move in my heart during that time. He is continually humbling me and taking me into a deeper intimacy with Him. One of my favorite things is to just start my mornings sitting with Him. I absolutely love just sitting in His presence. It’s so comforting and it just starts my day off with just being filled with peace.

This last week, my squad came in and they are AWESOME! I love R-squad!! The Lord has been moving within our squad and they are just so hungry and thirsty for more of Him. They want to see the Lord move not only in their lives but in the lives of those around them. They’re excited, nervous, but excited to get out there and start sharing the gospel with people! I feel so blessed I get to lead them and walk alongside of them these next three months.

On top of it all, the Lord has blessed me with a co leader. I came into leader training thinking I was going to be leading my squad all by myself which was highly intimidating. I was praying and asking the Lord for someone to lead with me. And the Lord was faithful and brought someone who was actually supposed to be a participant of my squad. He had done this trip before and was just wanting to go again, but the Lord had other plans and now we get to lead together! Thank you Ben for your willingness to say yes!

All in all, these last few weeks have been wild but the Lord has been faithful and good and covering me in peace as I step into a season of unknown. Things I could use prayer for:
– Prayer for my squad and unity amongst them. They are sweet, but the enemy loves to cause division, pray for protection against that around them
– Prayer for safe travels as we head to South Africa in less than a WEEK!
– Prayer for my fundraising. I am over halfway, praise the Lord! I do still have 46% left to raise, but I know that the Lord will provide!
– Prayer for me and Ben as we step into leading this squad. We want to do it well and be guided by the Lord. Pray for wisdom and guidance!
